our base services
Our Base Architectural Design Services are the foundation needed to take any project from conception to completion. Using the traditional architectural design model as a basis (check out ‘The Business of Architecture’) we’ve devised a set of starightforward ‘a la carte’ services specifically for neighborhood scaled projects. There are two primary paths to take based on the size and complexity of the project: BUILDING PERMIT SET or the CONSTRUCTION SET SERVICE.

Every client situation is different. No project is the exact same. That’s where our ADD-ON SERVICE MODULES come into play. From picking out lighting fixtures, selecting finishes, to landscape design our ADD-ONS give you the ability to customize your Base Architectural Design Service with the flexible services you need to develop your project just the way you want it.
fixed fee a la carte services
We believe fixed-fee pricing is less confusing and more fair than hourly fees. They remove ambiguity while clearly communicating the precise value being provided. All of our BASE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES and ADD-ONS are founded on fixed fee, stress free ‘a la carte’ pricing modules for ease of purchasing.
HOURLY ADDITIONAL SERVICES
There are a few additional services that are simply too difficult to predict, estimate, and package into a fixed-fee module. These services we provide at our hourly rate.
PRICING and FLEXIBLE paymentS
The total cost to take a project from start to finish will vary by project. However, you can expect our total design fee to be around 2-8% of the cost of construction depending on size and type of project. Download our Menu of Services for current prices and rates.
We understand that in the world of small scale neighborhood & incremental development capital is sometimes hard to come by - especially early on. To make our services more financially accessible we provide flexible monthly payments plans for services upon request.
