MANAGING PRINCIPAL | Architect + Urban Designer
Growing up in Detroit, Michigan, I was motivated to pursue architecture and construction as a career. Conflicting realities between the city I was raised in and the tales of a prosperous past told by my grandparents inspired me to one day play a part in helping Detroit regain some of its 'swag'. For me that means the creation of sustainable, equitable, and beautiful neighborhoods that embrace the character of Detroit's past and the needs of its future. Over the years, I've had the great fortune to work with and learn from many notable firms around the country and work on both domestic and international projects. My aspirations with Fabric[K] Design are to leverage what I've learned as an inspiration for others to participate in a 'Detroit Neighborhood Renaissance', and as a means to bring my passion back to the city that raised me. Fabric[K] will strive to make good design more available and accessible to everyday hardworking people and ultimately make better, more sustainable places for people to live. Let's get it!
